About this game

Aim trainers are the simplest possible measure of mouse accuracy: a target appears, you click it, another target appears somewhere else, you click that. This version runs for thirty seconds. Every hit gives ten points, every off-target click subtracts two. The targets are large enough that on a desktop monitor a focused player can clear forty or fifty hits per round, but the misses pile up fast once you start lunging across the screen. Touch screens count too, with appropriately sized hit areas, but desktop mice generally win the leaderboard. Run a few rounds back-to-back to see your form drift as your wrist tires, and try to keep your shoulders relaxed; tense players reliably score lower over a five-round set. The score updates live so you can watch how hits vs misses are trending mid-round.

How to play

Click anywhere inside the dark frame to begin. A red target appears at a random position. Click on it for ten points; another target spawns elsewhere. Clicking outside a target during the round subtracts two. After thirty seconds the round ends and your score is hits times ten minus misses times two, floored at zero. Restart fires a new round with a fresh sequence of target positions.

Frequently asked questions

5 questions answered

Without a miss cost the game becomes spam-clicking and the scores stop meaning anything. Two-points-per-miss is light enough that occasional off-target clicks do not tank your score but heavy enough to make wild lunges costly.
