How to reach us

The fastest and only way to reach the WhatIP team is by email at info@whatip.xyz. We read every message that arrives, even when we cannot send a personal reply to all of them. There is no phone line and no live chat, which keeps the team small and the site free. A clear subject line and a link to the exact page you are writing about help us help you faster.

What to write to us about

Bug reports. If a tool returns a wrong answer, a page fails to load, or something looks broken, tell us. Include the page URL, what you entered, what you expected, and what you got instead. A screenshot is gold. These reports go to the top of the queue because a broken tool helps nobody.

Tool and feature requests. Want a calculator, a network lookup, or a game we do not have yet? Describe what you need and how you would use it. We cannot build everything, but visitor requests genuinely shape what we work on next.

Content corrections. If you spot a factual error, an outdated tax rate, a stale reference value, or a confusing explanation, please write in. Send the page URL, the specific problem, and a source for the correct value if you have one. We treat corrections as a priority and aim to fix confirmed errors quickly.

Privacy and data requests. If you want to ask about the data we hold, request deletion of an email exchange, or exercise a right under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, email us with the details of your request. Because we keep very little personal information and do not run user accounts, most requests are simple to honor.

Advertising and legal. For advertising questions, partnership or syndication ideas, licensing, takedown notices, or other legal matters, send a short description of what you have in mind and the relevant details. We are selective about partnerships and only consider things that fit the site.

What we cannot help with

Personalized professional advice. We are not licensed financial advisors, accountants, tax preparers, attorneys, doctors, or security professionals. We cannot review your portfolio, prepare your return, diagnose a condition, or audit your network. Our tools give estimates and general information; for decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional in your area.

One-off custom calculations. Beyond what the public tools already support, we are not able to run bespoke computations for individual situations. If your case is complex enough that the published tools do not fit, a relevant professional is the right next step.

Verifying crowdsourced phone reports. The notes in our phone-number lookup section come from visitors, not from us. We cannot confirm who owns a number or whether a report is accurate, and we cannot remove a number from public records on your behalf.

Response window

Most substantive messages get a reply within three to five business days. Bug reports and confirmed content corrections are handled as fast as we reasonably can. Partnership and legal inquiries can take longer because they often need more review.

How we handle corrections

When you report an error, we try to reproduce it and check it against a reliable source. If it holds up, we fix the underlying content or tool and the change goes live with the next deploy. For corrections that affect reference values across many pages, such as a tax rate, we apply the fix everywhere it appears rather than patching a single page. We do not publicly credit reporters by default, but we are grateful for every catch.

Privacy when you email us

When you contact us, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you choose to include. We use that information only to respond to you and to act on your request. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not share your message with advertisers. See the privacy policy for the full picture of how we handle personal information.
